Brief Introduction
With a new round of technological revolution on the rise，data has become the 5th key production factor driving economic growth, besides land, talent, capital, and technology. To deepen the reform on market allocation of production factors, and to accelerate free and orderly data flow, thus to further spur the creativity and market vitality, Beibu Gulf Big Data Trading Center has been established on August 11, 2020 under the authorization of the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China. It is guided by the Big Data Development Bureau of Guangxi and led by China-ASEAN Information Harbor Co., Ltd. On November 25, 2020, Beibu Gulf Big Data Trading Center associates with influential businesses and organizations at home and abroad involved in trading, supply, application, technical service and research of big data and jointly initiate China-ASEAN Big Data Trading Industrial Alliance today.
Purpose of Establishment
It aims at building an all-in-one China-ASEAN data trading industrial chain ecosystem that covers the collection, storage, computation, cleaning, analysis, consultation, demonstration, and application of data, enhancing the opening-up and cooperation between China and ASEAN countries in the field of digital economy and promoting the construction of China-ASEAN Digital Silk Road.
Alliance Tenet
The Alliance was founded based on the principles of voluntary, equality, mutual benefit and collaboration, aims at establishing closer production and marketing ties between big data product circulation enterprises, data supplier and data users, so as to jointly advance the flourishing development of China-ASEAN big data trading ecosystem.
Alliance Advantage
Through the establishment of a collaboration platform consists of stakeholders in the industry including universities, research institutions, application and investment agencies, the collaboration mechanism for sharing information and business opportunities will be shaped. The Alliance will conduct prospective researches on data gathering, processing, application and trading, as well as big data trading technology and business model innovation, so as to accelerate China-ASEAN big data trading service coordination and knowledge sharing, and to build the most influential big data trading ecosystem serving both China and the ASEAN member countries.
